By day, this can be a quiet place, but any night of the week, it is a struggle to get in the door, past the crowds of after-workers and students alike. Arguably the busiest bar in Ashton lane, this old-fashioned Irish pub has a nice atmosphere to it, and a distinct lack of seating, possibly to make more room for the hordes which visit each night.

Equipped with a beer garden for use in the sun, and a small strip on the street outside where drinkers can stand with their Guinness when the crowds simply don't fit inside in the bar.
A regular haunt of mine. Worth a visit, especially if you enjoy a good pint of the black stuff, or some amber nectar.
