Aberdeen
Aberdeen, the Granite City located between the rivers Dee and Don is a remarkable city of magnificent granite buildings giving it an old fashioned charm and is gaining a reputation as one of Scotland's finest clubbing venues.
The discovery of oil in the North Sea has placed Aberdeen at the forefront of the UK's oil industry, being new jobs, and new prosperity to the city. The large number of people visiting the city for leave from the oil rigs has also seen an increase in the number of bars and nightclubs catering to their needs of drink, good music and members of the opposite sex.
Aberdeen also has a significant student population with two universities, Aberdeen and Robert Gordon, therefore there are several pubs aiming towards the more student crowd (i.e. cheap prices), so don't worry that prices will only be aimed at the more affluent clients.
