Privacy is an important factor for users browsing the web, and therefore it is important to us as well. We hope that users will feel comfortable about posting information to us.
When you browse our site, our servers will collect information about what pages you are viewing, at what time and from what IP (address). This is collected along with the browser you are using and processed automatically to give statistics about our site, such as how many people visited it. This information is not used to track your individual browsing of our site.
When you register with us you provide information about yourself, specially an email address and password, which is used to identify yourself to the server. Using this is only necessary when submitting a review, however you may log in at any time. If you browse the site while logged in, your browsing is not currently tracked. In the future we may use a system which will enter the pages you view into a database for the purpose of providing information to advertisers. This information will be limited to general statistics such as "how many visitors were resident in the city they were viewing" - our system will not be able to identify what a specific person did while browsing the site.
While registering you will be required to enter other details such as your name and where you live. This information will be used in the future to provide potential advertisers information about who visits our site. However, only general statictics will be provided - no details about you will be disclosed to any third party for advertising purposes.
Our server uses cookies to determine whether a user is logged in and who the user is for the purpose of submitting reviews.
Should an advertiser wish to provide targeted promotional information to members they will be required to use our system to target and send this information, therefore your details are not disclosed to them.
Members may opt-out of our mailing lists at any time by logging into the Members' Area. We reserve the right to send emails to those who have opted out should important information about our site need to be distributed to all users. These emails will be kept to a minimum.
Members are also able to specify whether they wish other users to be able to email them via our site. If a member chooses to let other users be able to email them a link will be provided on their reviews to the members' area where the user will be required to log in and send the message via our site. Your email address will not be disclosed to the users sending you a message, however, if you send a message to another member your email address will be visible on the email they recieve.
Members are able to edit the information they provided when they registered at any time by logging into the Members' Area.
