My first time to this place was last night. I see someone else wrote a great wee find. I agree, its a grand wee place.
Going by the reviews of the place, I can see why its such a great wee place. But I do admit, it was mobbed, and my friend and I were stuck in a wee corner where we couldnt absorb much of the atmosphear.
£7.50 for a double voddie n lemonaid, and a bottle of millar is rather debatable though for a place like this.. Thus had put me off, but in the spirit of Ill try anything twice, I shall go back and see how things progress from there.
Loved the old Atari postcard I found stuck to the wall though.

This is one of the best "pubs" in glasgow. Friendly staff, great food portions, good prices and good music. What more could you ask for!

brilliant. used work near here and is great for pub lunches. they do a fab macaroni cheese & chips - divine. huge portions at great prices. great wee find.

i was in here on a saturday night a while back and found it very atmospheric with its candle thing going on. Nice friendly mixed crowd and they were playing Beach Boys records. What more do you want?

What a crowd! Words can't describe the mixed bag of people who were in here tonight. From students through to folks possibly in their 60's - a real mixed bag. Smiling, chatting, not posing - almost a text book definition of "socialising".
Great atmosphere, quick service at the bar, and for the just a second, I felt somewhere other than Glasgow!
No need for heavies on the door and indeed, I loved it and so did my wee maw and paw.
Went on the strength of the nightb4 reviews and suffice to say this is a good place with no heads up no arses. I will make a point of going back.

Went to Monkey Puzzle last month and the music was awesome. Some real Disco Classics like Runaway, Thriller and Ain't nobody.
I'll be making a point to get to the next one. Does anyone know the date? I think it is the first Saturday, but I'm not sure, and I haven't seen any posters.
