This was my first visit to the place in a couple of years.
IMPRESSED.
Nice crowd, big and very spacious layout (without a "barn" feeling), and remarkably, no stewards nor any apparent need for them.
Good selection of beers, good house music and a huge projection of the Doors movie running onto a large wall.
Ideal.
Will be back.

What's this place all about?.. it has no atmosphere and the drinks promo although quite good was to say the least odd.. double vodka and a glass bottle of lemon fanta £1.50.. methinks noone is buying the minging fanta on its own so they had to invent a way to offload it.. hmm..

excellent pub, cant beat it in the merchant city. although Kilkie's curly fries in Bar 91 just around the corner comes a close second.

The Merchant City in general is a good place to have a few drinks and this is one of the reasons why. I think it would make a great club venue, as you have the DJ booth in an elevated position, with a balcony and seating area over the main bar. And it has a high roof, which is very important. All in all, 8/10.

One of the real quality bars of the merchant city. Very chilled out music but not too loud, you can actually have a conversation. Nice place to take the ladies! Good chance of pulling after this trendy bar!
Got some nice comfy couches and booths to chill out it in. Get in early to obtain a seat as it only gets busier at weekends.
A must see in the Merchant city

When i walked into this place one Thursday night i thought- HOLIDAY!! And i havent changed my mind on that. Sitting in the high cieling room, on one of the couches, with a group of friends, drinking exotic beers, wierd vodka mixers, and cheap shots reminded me of a bar in greece i was at in holiday. The music is good, and if you catch the place on the right night a definet party atmosphere swarms around you in abundance.
The only thing i have againgst this place is the location, as im not a huge fan of merchant city, oh and also getting to the toilets... a challenge when drunk!
Overall- Very Good place to go for someones birthday, before heading off to the clubs.
