Popped in on Sat for 1, found Bloc to be lacking in atmosphere & too quiet for a Sat night, although some small groups / couples looked content to be able to sit round a table chatting..

Good little bar, lots of live bands and a small area outside.

Can't comment on food as I've never eaten there, but it looked good!

Went in to Bloc before heading down to the Subbie for Outerdrive. The music was really good and the booze selection was pretty impressive to - draft hoegarden, making a change from the compulsery tennents or miller selection in most offerings.

Will be using it again as stop off on the way down the Subbie.

We're "out of towners" and popped in cos it was oppostite our hotel (Bewleys) Sunday night was open mike night, anybody could turn up and do a bit of strummin and hummin. Although not busy, there was a nice vibe.

If I was in A & R, I would have signed Eddie from the Bloc.

only been in here once or twice, thought it was pretty cool, quite expensive though. had live music on when i was in on a sunday, quite a small wee place, never saw it that busy, quite close to bamboo, would be good for getting a few drinks before heading out for a nite in bamboo

I worked in Bloc+, but I'm not biased....i drank there before I worked there.
Food through the day is good, seating could be better, but cosy anyway.
Its got a 3am license at the weekends, and the music is generally quite good.
Different in a good way from the rest of the pubs on Bath street.

Been here a few times, its a good little bar that has a nice relaxed atmosphere. Has a good variety of beer and does good nachos right up until 2am! skill!
