i love city, its very good, love the mix of music they play! WEDNESDAY is a must, saturdays r good but very EXPENSIVE £8 to get in :|!! be warned there are a good few underagers!

Its crap, lacks atmosphere.
The guys toilets get over crowded.

Bar staff are quite efficient though and you get the weirdest coat tickets from the cloakroom

Savage!!Was there last night and was blown away!clubs in Ireland cannot compare...savage barmen too-particulary the hot Australien guy-service with a smile...would def recommend,and i will be back,the entry charge is nothing when drink is that cheap.On the whole Edinburgh is A1 compared to nytlife here-sux ass being home!

Really expensive on a saturday night but generally really good otherwise.

have had a lot of good nigts in this club. it is probably the best looking club in edinburgh but the layout can leave a lot to be desired if you are drunk and cant find your mates!!

the music has been right across the board whenever i have been which proved popular on the dancefloor.

the only bad thing i can say about this club is that there seems to be more neds going there now than when it first opened. but if you let them bother you then no point going out anywhere really!!

I was there last night and had a great time. The music was varied. They even played the Fresh Prince of Bel Air! Huge dancefloor. The four pound entry was reasonable on the Wednesday. Very crowded though. Can't imagine what it would be like at the weekends. Definately give it a go. I'll be going back!

Just checked out the Thursday night at City - and was pleasantly surprised! The music was cool, pretty dancey but good dance for a change, and the DJ's were terrific. They had some fab banter for the crowd and even do fancy dress for the occasion.

It was a lot of fun, and the crowd were really getting into it. Some good promos too, £1.50 pints and bottles and stuff. If you're stuck for a good proper club night on Thurs you should check it out. The staff are dead friendly too, and - get this - they seemed to be enjoying themselves!!

Have also been on a Saturday which was pretty special, but a bit pricey. I'd say worth it though, as the atmosphere is brilliant.

City definitely has the best Wednesday nights going -- one problem... they've started making it exclusive to students!! Why the hell do clubs do this? Especially this place -- what made it so appealing was the fact there was no hassle if you're no a student.

Where exactly are the non-students supposed to go? Some folk take weeks off work so they can enjoy a week of partying but they can't get in anywhere; folk from other cities coming through to Edinburgh, what are they supposed to do? City was the place that broke the "students only" trend in Edinburgh weeknights and now they're just falling in line like everywhere else.

I'd seriously like a reply to this from a member of City's staff because it's just getting silly now. And I've noticed the past coupel Weds haven't been as busy as usual too so maybe it wasn't such a good idea.

Last time I had to blag my way into a club I was 17!! Ridiculous.

Good club -- shit policy.

People in this club need to get a life they are so up themselves people go in their groups and dont mingle. This club has potential. but just now the club only has a rep cause Justin has been there. The place is very very busy.
