ive been here since i was about 16. i can't really fault it to be honest, yeh that bouncer that someone called an asshole really is, he thinks he is awesome but he is just a dick!
only bad point is the floor its a real let down but its either that or some random tiled floors and that just means more accidents that im pretty sure they dont want.
And to that dick who said no self respecting adult would go....get a life eh do we complain about the many "chav" clubs like liquid, paramount, tiget tiger? No cause quite simply there is only 2 places we can go without getting abuse and thats exo and shulu we need more places like these! no more dance clubs

Hey Dan! Ur rite, its not a patch on the Palace. I miss that sticky carpet... and u dancin 4 me!!! However, I have to say,in Ryans defence, he can be a proper gentleman when he wants. I think the bouncers r excellent and hav helped out other Windmill Brae employees on numerous occassions. Us girlies need those big strong boys every now and then when things get out of hand. And then theres Charlie... we love him! Cheers Boys x

i went along to see felix da housecat on sunday 25th september, first time in,very mixed crowd which was refreshing,no trouble, the place was bouncin as felix played a blinder, would go back if they continued to book djs/music to my tastes, only one problem though, the club finished at the same time as drum so you end up out in the street with the "drum crew",i would recommend snafu ahead of this club as its friendlier consistently better music and a better atmosphere.

Moshulu is a great place if you're out for a good time. If you're the kind of person who'd leave and ill judge a place just because 'Justin Timberlake' comes on then you're truly a sad loser! People who have a problem with the goths there should also appreciate that if it's not to their taste then they shouldn't even consider it a place to go. The people in this club are very friendly. They also respect the others around them and despite the vastly varied dress and personality styles around; there's never any clashing! Excellent place for fun! Dance floor is charged with spirit boosting energy too!
Michael

Moshulu has its good points and bad points. Good: you can wear whatever you like and nobody will look twice at you, which I feel is unlike a lot of the more mainstream clubs. Dressing slightly "alternatively" and going out to the likes of Liquid pretty much guarantees a horrific evening, but I've been in with my pink fluffy Liquid loving girlfriends many a time and they don't feel awkward at all. It is the only club in Aberdeen where I feel comfy attending even if it's been a bit last minute and I'm in my skankiest jeans and a t-shirt. It is a friendly place and I've never seen any trouble. The drinks are cheap and you normally get served quickly enough.
However, occasionally I feel old at the age of 20, and I still get ID'd yet I know a fair few 16 year old regular attenders. The door staff do appear to ID the plainly old enough and noone else, just so they can say, "Yeah, we ID 50% of customers." It also needs refurbishing, although it doesn't seem to be as busy as it used to be so I guess if the customers aren't supporting it, why spend their money? Also, even although it's friendly, it's quite cliquey. There are a *lot* of regulars that know each other and although friendly, they don't go out of their way to talk to you.
All in all a great club for relaxing and having a good few drinks. Peoplewatching at the poles is also pretty enjoyable at times. ;)

MOSHULU Rocks - the people are interesting and hold content.. and the music is wicked!! yeah damnit.
Only one problem though - the young BLACK bouncer with cornrow hairstyle on the door ( I think hes called TEETO or something like that )
He is an IDIOT!
Ive never had a run in with him ever... but ive heard from many people that he is an a55hole.
I over heard him one evening commenting on the people inside the club as " sick fucking goth phychos "
-- nice guy eh ?
Should this RnB fan be allowed to hold the door at such a club when he soooo obviously hates the crowd who go there.
I remember him when he was a skinny Black kid appearing at CREDO GYM.
then he pumps up and drinks some PROTEIN shaked and turns into Mr.Tough a55.
MOSHULU ROCKS
This BOUNCER SPOILS IT!
.. anyone else have run ins with Mr.CORNROW Bouncer kid ?

Moshulu is a dive. At least the Palace played a mixture of music. Moshulu seems to play the same Nu-Metal and Pop shite all the time. And Nine Inch Nails haven't been "cool" or good in 10 years. The place is full of teenybopping pogodancing arseholes. No self-respecting adult would attend this community centre of shit.

Every city needs a club like this. Great to see that the city centres are not completely being taken over by big name theme clubs, and also fantastic to see that it isn't just Edinburgh or Glasgow that now gets the bigger gig tours. More of the same please.
