I love this place its a great night, great atmosphere, great stewards and bar staff. Luv goin. Go every sat without fail, heard that the staff are barred and not allowed to drink in their own pub, thats not fair since its them that make yates wot it is.

This Yates's is great, any night of the week. Especially on a Sunday Night, before Vickie's. It's not too packed but there's a great atmosphere, Buy doubles insted of single's ( there cheaper!!)£8.50 for a bottle of house wine ,none o yer buckie pish here ( get Mountain Shadows, it's the best!!).

A very good pub which is very reminiscent of Lloyds on West George Street in terms of the style as it also has the glass fronted look and is actually a lot bigger inside than it looks, one of these pubs that opens up when you step inside. The crowd were mainly in the 18 to 30 age group although there were a few older people. There is also music which is incredibly loud although couldn't tell you the exact type as it was a 70s theme weekend when we were there. The talent is of a very good level with lots of beautiful people. The decor is again of the glitzy type with plenty of glass and shiny surfaces in evidence. For the girls there is a space at the back set aside as a dance floor although there is not a lot of room on this. Overall a very nice looking pub with prices the average for the city centre and somewhere that is worth a visit.
