manga on a friday night monthly is always fantastic. If you like your drum n bass then head on down to manga. There's always an up for it crowd...although not as fab as at la belle. Check it out.

apparently cut chemist made a surprise appearance that night (motherfunk - tuesday), but i was completely unawares. drinks absolutely extortionate for a cheapskate like me. 4.50 for vodka/cranberry. free to get in though so i spose it compensates. fantastic music, hiphop/funk/jazzy type thing going on which is great as chilling music, but dancing to it involves a lot more effort!

Well...
Everyone aged between 16 and 19 knows of it as an underage club. Sounds alright though.
Someone once said "it's a gay club when not underage"
The reply
"fuck that shit, it's a hip-hop club. Faggots don't listen to dat shit!"

I agree with everyone else that says that the Honeycomb is an excellent club. However, I dont go there anymore and I have no intentions of going back and I will tell you why. The sound system really is painfully bad! Last time i was there was at a TokyoBlu night back during the fringe. THe music was fantastic as was the crowd and general atmosphere. HOWEVER, although the actual music being played was damn good, the speakers belted it out far too harshly. despite being out my head it was giving me a splitting headache. I had to go and ask the barstaff if they could give me a pair of earplugs. They couldn't, so after trying to put up with it for a wee while longer i eventually had to leave. The relief on my head and ears when I got outside was immense. I have no intentions of ever going back there which is a shame cos if they got a decent sound system installed, it would undoubtedly be up there with the best in Edinburgh, if not thee best!

Well this is pretty much my favourite club in Edinburgh so I am pretty biased! It as three rooms, all in arches under the north bridge; the main dance floor, the main bar and seating; and the chill out with small dance floor. It also has another small bar. Drinks are average for Edinburgh about £3 - So not the best if you plan on getting totally pissed! Fortnightly Saturday is funky, shake your ass, house: Audio Deluxe. It’s usually pretty busy, with a lively, up for it crowd, one you should definitely check out!!the best if you plan on getting totally pissed!
