It runs a superb Pool Competition on a Thursday night at 9.30pm, and the first prize is £85, and runner up gets a case of Budweiser.


In the past two years it's given out £5500 in prize money, and is becoming more and more popular with the average entry being 26 people and rising as of Nov 2008

Not only that, if you go out in the first round, there is a second competition for all the losers. This way you always have two chances of a prize when you turn up.


The entry fee is £3. They also serve cracking bar meals (and yes the burgers are simply brilliant as others have mentioned) and the bar staff are always a good laugh!!

Jesus! See on Friday night it's filled with loads of underagers. Some of the regulars are a good laff and Charlie does a good job cleaning the tables even tho he's pish at snooker!

Potter's has recently been taken over and is now run by Fiona. It's
still popular with young people although she has now put a halt on
some 'under agers' who allegedly use to drink in the bar, so if your
around 18 be prepared to offer some kind of evidence of your age.
If there's a demand for it then some kind of entertainment might be
put on at weekends.
