Hi
I think the Savoy is brill and I love walking up the wrong way from the dance floor and going up to a Pole. It's great for getting your bag knocked in outside it after chucking out time.Even I could pull in there, and my mate Graham Wallace was there and he is a far better lookin guy than me.

Having a laugh reading all the reviews!!! I occasionally grace the savoy with my presence and have to agree with the decor jibes but its about the only place you can go and still have a good laugh with your mates without feeling you have to pose all night (which most nightclubs are all about these days!!!) Although always leave before the traditional slushy music comes on at the end.

The Suave Sav - not the best looking club in town - but at least last Friday me and my mates had good laugh and I got a lumber (she looked alright after a few beers!)
I lost a fiver in the fruit machine but the manager bought me and my mates a round to make up for it - top man! Would I go back? Definitely - but don't tell the wife!!!

Me and my friends are no 'cheap tarts' and we certainly don't save up our 'giro's' for a nite out!! We are all aged between 20-23 with great jobs and a good taste in clothing but we all really enjoy the Sav and go most weekends. I would say the crowd is definitely younger than the reputation it's got for being full of oldies (well at the weekend anyway) and to be honest we're much too busy dancing and having a laugh with each other to be bothered pulling anyone. I will admit if we paid attention to some of the idiots around us we probably wouldn't go back, but you'll find idiots everywhere and when we go out we just like to dance and have a laugh between ourselfs. I'd say don't paint everyone with the same brush, there are a lot of hard working decent people who go to the Savoy too!!!!

This Place is great, nothing like Vickie's. But it really is good. Saturday Night in " The Swav Sav" is called the Big Night Out. and thats what it is. £8 to get in and im not sure how much it is for a drink, usually to plastered by that time to remember it. But it's a good night out. okay the talent may be ancient but hey can you really complain, they gotta have somewhere to go!! xx
