I went to this club for the first time on Sunday night and was expecting the worse having read whats been posted but was shocked at what I found. The unique look from the outside separates it from any other club as soon as you set eyes on it, although its a bit on the small side the interior is cleverly planned out with a clubby downstairs and a more relaxed chillout area upstairs with sofas to die for. As for the staff they were nothing but helpful and assisted to every need be it taxis or help sobering up for those who had a bit too much, they also weren't stuck up and knew how to have a good time. Might not recommend it to 25+ but for someones first introduction to clubs and the kind of atmosphere its a good/safe night with some cool deals at happy hour. Thumbs up all round from my mates.

I am sending this message after reading some of the trash that has been written about the commplex on this page.
Obviously the people who take the time to pick out all the negative points of a club/band night are clearly not out for a good time and must be in serious need of a blow job.
The band nights at the commplex are a credit to leith
and seem to touch on fresher ideas than the venues up the town.

Have been going to the live band nights there recently and they've put on some great nights, with some great acts too. The sound has been great as has the lighting. Saff always friendly and happy to help.. I'll definitely be back.

Most enjoyable evening, everything I would expect from a venue and more, good atmosphere, nice staff and unique setting in the most up and coming area of the town. Will definately be returning for the next 'too naughty' night.

I really liked this place, reminded me of the much loved and missed wilkie house. I'd say its a must for lovers of live music was at the last night they had and it rocked, bring on the tequila baby .....

lets jst say the place hasen't seen more then 5 ppl in it at once,its a crummy little set up in a shitty area.

I think people are very wrong about this club. Set in an old church it has amazing character. Just because it aint packed to the rafters with sweaty teenagers drinking alcopops doesn't mean it is a bad club. It puts on fun and entertaining nights and has a certain class to it that many other night clubs don't have these days. Staff were friendly and atmosphere is cool. A nice change.

Filth! this club is disgustin, the pain i felt bein there was unbearable-sum1 nail me to a tree and let me die. I only hope this reaches any potential customers to it see this in time. DON'T GO!!! its the worst place in edinburgh if not the world. I am contemplatin suein the owners for my pitiful experience-bastards, get it sorted. good day, Mr Dundee

Good Venue & Rig. Unfortumately Staff had no clue about PA, it's in the middle of nowhere and gangster run, so dont have any altrications with locals.
On the other hand, they managed to showcase Benbecula Records artists in November, so they obviously know the right people. So, u decide & keep your ear to the ground.
