This has to be one of the worst nightclubs I have ever come across. It is rife with underage drinkers, fights and people dealing drugs. The bouncers beat people up illegally in discreet rooms if they suspect you have been causing trouble. My advice to anyone is to avoid it like the plague for your own safety, it's a filthy scummy nightclub.

Now "London". Some good music and a few guest DJs in that I've visited for, bit chavier than Fat Sam's... most importantly, for the love of God, do not drink one of their pints. For two years, they did not stop being revolting, undrinkable and smelly.

I have two reviews, one for the circus and one for the new London (which i guess is more important). The circus was full of underagers but i guess i was included in that crown, it was easy to get into and the music didnt really matter. But when i did become "legal" it was like Enigma 2. Shite. As for london they have made it look class and have done a good job. Mardi is still favourite, i dont know why cuz the music is pish but too harnened to it to care. Fattys plays best music, but i think is generally a worse club its too busy, too pricy and that queue to get in ruins your night. So mardi is best all round in my view.

I'm not sure if this page will be read but as far as a decent night out and a place to spin quality tunes i've ditched the doldrums of dundee's clubbing nightlife for a spot in a nice little place in Hollywood (no its not a place in scotland) The things you have to do just to get on a decent set of decks in a club run by peeps who actually give a fuck about the "punters" and cater for their musical tastes and not interested in robbing their cash with false advertisements and line ups that promise a lot but only half the deejays turn up (yup and not a single penny discounted from the ticket price....hmmmm)Come on tae fuck you lot...You need the refurb paid for somehow and i'll bet my last quid that if you get actual deejays in and stop letting in belters the whole situation will turn for the better....Here's hoping!!!!

The place is now called London Nightclub and has been totally revamped. It has a small restaurant type thing and two dancefloors. The main one is mostly RnB while the smaller one is dance stuff. Was well impressed at the availability of ghd's in the girls toilets, which I took full advantage of.
The place does look much better but how long it will last is anyone's guess. I had heard that more glams would be held there after the renovation but none so far with the exeption of 1 over xmas. Thats what we really need in dundee - more bangin dance events!!
Went to see trevor nelson a few weeks ago and surprisingly enjoyed myself, despite being more of a dance lover.
Worth a visit but needs more glams, bring back the monthly glams and DJs we love (good ol' jules, fergie, mauro etc)!!!!!

After a few name changes and a few million quid being spent, I was hoping for somewhere different than the rest of the crap Dundee has to offer. It wasn't to be though. Coming from the promoters who have brought Judge Jules, Mauro Picotto, Paul Oakenfold and Don Diablo to name but a few to Scotland, Glam Promotions "5 rooms,5 nights" club is nothing different to the dire being served up in South Ward Road. It plays all the cheesy crap you get in the Mardi and Jumping Jaks in the clubs biggest room, and in the R'n'B room (its a couple of false walls and mirrors seperating you from the big room)you get all the Pop Idol reject stuff you get downstairs in Fatties. If you are after a decent club night with big name DJ's save your cash for a night somewhere else.
