One of my favourite bars. The best staff, the best place for guiness and excellent food. Absoulutely mobbed at the weekend and don't mess with that bouncer, he's only about 6' 9" but is a good guy for a bouncer.

The type of customers it attracts is good, no tracksuit people, know!

This is a great hidden bar, very friendly and has a nice vibe.

great pub staff are top class unlike most other pubs you got to try the test tubes i will defo be back in there i never even knew it was there bar garden is great but kinda in middle of nowhere and down side street between to buildings dont know how the sun gets to it.

A friend showed me this Pub over a year ago and since then I am a regular visitor.
The staff is always nice and friendly. I really like the athmosphere in there especially when the weather is great and you can sit outside. The prices for food and drinkgs are quite okay and you should try a portion of nachos together with your Pint.

Nice pretty busy and out the way, not manny muppets know about it. Sausage and Mash was good for lunch.

Have to say I was tempted into seeking out this place on the strength of these other reviews. Having now been, I do agree this is a nice wee drinking den (and may I stress the wee, even double the size it'd be tiny) and its worth a try and maybe even many a return visit anyway. Drink prices are average though they do great deals on their test tubes which are lovely. Tad disappointed cos I thought it would be more Lab like looks but that only extends to some pictures of Einstein hanging on the wall and an old school blackboard. Ah well, few more of those test tubes and its all good!

excellent little pub - food is great, cocktails are fab and the staff are friendly and always on the ball. A definate favourite!

This is a wee hidden gem of a pub.

They should make it more apparent though. I only found out where it actually was 2 nights ago, but I have been walking up and down Buchanan Street for over a decade and never noticed it before.

Outside area is really good. It was raining the night we were here but they had big umbrellas up so that wasnt a problem. Inside it was very nice. I also saw the test tube glasses (but never got a drink in one) and they look so cool.

Its prices werent anything special. Just normal prices really.

Really good though. Will definately be trying to drag people back here.

Love the location of this bar, just tucked away off Buchanan Street. Sitting out in the courtyard in a nice summers evening – hard to beat. Busy, lively and nice music. Has an arty feel to it, like you should be philosophising or writing poetry. Good beer. Check it out.
