This is a decent pub. Reasonable prices, good staff and always seats available. A bit of a weird mix of people, especially at the weekend, and guaranteed someone with shit taste in music will always horde the jukebox. Watch out for the influx of pensioners during Sunday lunchtime, especially during the winter months! Good to start here, and then move on to Cottiers.

Excellent Quiz on a Thursday - a bit of a challenge though as there's a lot of old codgers who know everything. Good pub grub at very cheap prices. Very mixed crowd of both old and young.

Good for live sport (if you are into that). Decent range of beer etc and very very cheap decent food. Get the Chinos on and stroll on down !!
