Out is the only Gay/friendly nite club In Dundee.
I have been a punter of Out since it first opened some many years ago as Liberty's. There has been many changes over the years Including staff/ management abd a full re - furbishment of the venue.
Although I have not been on the Dundee Scene for a while. I would still recommend OUT for a night out . Straight or gay it's a great night out. Although I must admit that the Club it's self is not that big and can become rather cramped at times. however I feel personally this adds to the atmosphere.
Owned by the Same chap Mr Mcleod are also Brooklyn's Bar which Has many drink promos and kareoke on a Sun, Wed & Fri night. Which is alway good for a laugh. I beleave that recently Brooklyn's Bar has become a Bistro during the day too. Although I have not as yet been.
Also for the Moshers and goths among you Mr Mcloed also has a Club called " The Cage" wish is within the same stair well as Brooklyn's, Not being into that sort of Music I could'nt tell you what the Venue is liek personally. Although a friend of mine goes their and she tells me that it is fab. Always busy and good music.
I hope that this post is of some help to you all

A favourite place of mine is Out Nightclub, which is situated just off the Seagate, in St. Andrew's Street. Our previous review of the club wasn't at all nice, but at the time was extremely honest. But since then, the club (formerly Liberty Nightclub) has gone from strength to strength following a refurbishment and relaunch. It now offers decent music (with one DJ being the exception), drinks promo's, friendly and relaxed atmosphere, spacious dance floor and a podium for all the queens amongst us. The friendly attitude of staff makes for a great night out.

It's difficult to know what to say about this club. It's just,well,nothing......
Nothing seems to be going on there, just a loadda people kinda standin around waiting for somethin to happen. It's a bit like a doctor's waiting room with loud music added. They're a pretty prosaic, predictable crowd. The music really is the pits, considering it's a city centre niteclub. It's all yesterday's crappy hits and never anything new.About the only positive things are that on Fri and Sat nites the drinks are reasonably priced in comparison with the other clubs in town, the pints are only 10p more than you pay in a pub and the pints are good quality and drinkable which is something you can't say about other clubs.Apart from that give it a miss, there's just NOTHING going on here.

This place is lousy. It is actually worse than most gay clubs, which are pretty bloody bad generally. All you see in this place are the inevitable cliques, and unless you're a screaming queen, wannabe boy band lookalike or one of the regular hard-core punters no-one speaks to you.The only people who pull in here are like-attracts-like assholes.Big tip-go to a straight club instead.
