The State Bar has a great atmosphere and a great staff. Go in and ask for Kyle at the bar and you'll definitely get more than a fantastic drink.
Used to be good fun, but got a bit boring as Blues usually does.
Great wee pub on a Tuesday night when they have a 'Jam Session' 9-12pm. Bring your own guitar and join in on a R & B night. Cheap beer in what must be the safest pub in Glasgow (usually frequented by officers from Police HQ Pitt Street). Excellent pint of miller, cold and crisp.
