I was in here on Sunday for a wee bottle of wine. I loved it. The guy behind the bar was lovely, really chatty and polite and everyone in it just seemed chilled and were minding their own business. I'd recommend it to anyone.

Reviewed this pub 'bout three years ago, and went in (shanefully) for first time in ages last Sunday..and it is still Glasgows best kept pub secret! The mix of people, beer gardens front and back, food, all good..it just feels welcomong and friendly, great place to waste those sunny days away..

I can't wait for the summer to come around..that's when this place really takes off. You can follow the sun throught the day, and move from the beergarden out front, to the one out back..it's that good. Beer is great, and the folk there are just mindin their own business..go there, but keep it a secret!

Having found my way round most of the pubs in glasgow at some point I was delighted to find this absolute gem!
Not pretentious at all just a warm friendly environment if a bit dark excellent starting point to a night out or somewhere to chill. The service was superb and the girls behind the bar were lovely. Took a food order on friday night off me when they really didnt need to as they had stopped serving food.
When it came the food was amazing I just hope this place remains as anonomous as it is now so the wanker division that frequent the pubs in sauchiehall street etc stay away.

Best pub in Glasgow. Period.

For years this was my favourite bar in Glasgow. A wee bit away from the trendy bars, i was first intrigued by the humorous messages written on the board outside. Inside its a real mix of people. Students, D-list Celebs, locals, McPhabbs does not try to be anything, or have any particular image, and is all the better for it. Ask for the breakfast at the weekend,. Its been a while, but last time i was there it was gargantuan...2 fried eggs..and the brekkie was not even on the menu. Friendly and cool. Hell I've talked myself into going tomorrow!
I have sorted of neglected the pub since firewater opened, but it is still one of top 3 bars in city. Just don't tell to many people.

One of the best pubs in town for watching the soccer. The patter behind the bar is pure brulllee-ent and the food's tops too!

Such a strange mix of punter if you look close but you never feel out of place.
