nice wee pub, decent atmosphere, and yes they do employ some lovely bar staff

Best bar in the Grassmarket and the manager obviously uses the correct methodology when recruiting barmaids.

Billy the Bouncer is a nice bloke as long as you don't shake his hand

This pub has to be one of the FRIENDLIEST pubs in Edinburgh and serves great food. Great bar staff and waitresses

We enjoyed some of the best Haggis, Neeps & Tatties at this pub. Friendly staff make it worth a visit. Three Reids and a Rucker from the U.S.A.

Of all the pubs I have been drunk (I mean drinking) in, I have to say that this was one of the friendliest. The staff were smiling & helpful. It is a great crack @ the weekend and the queue is often down the street. It doesnt take itself too seriously, although it is very professional @ the same time. One last thing.........................it serves a GREAT pint of guinness!
