How sleazy looking is the guy who owns Kef?
I haven't been for some time, and am in no hurry to return. I saw Proud mary there a year or so ago, they were good, but I wouldn't rush back to kef.

Just moved to the Deen and my first night out was spent at Kef for JungleNation (8th b'day)! This club has everything you'd expect from a 'sweat-pit' point of view and the atmosphere was electric! Not sure about the shakey dancefloor - but the soundsystem and vibe well made up for it! Combats and trainers all the way baby!

fuckin amazing is this place. The cushions are great for when ur wasted and the bouncing dancefloor is best for when ur feelin the jungle beats. get the jungle nations back here than in Snafu! Bad company kicked ass!!

About the only club in aberdeen that doesnt play mainstream bollocks. Jungle Nation nights (1st sat of the month) are always class. Apart from that weekend nights tend to be breakbeat / jungle oriented. The booths are nice for socialising but blocking off the balcony was a bad move - destroys the open aspect of the club.
Good for a weeknight late night bevvy session n aw.

if you want to chill out, or you are on some sort of drugs. go here. you can have a nice quiet chat here, with no hassel. this place gets a bad rap, for being full of "junkies", i have never come into contact with any so far.

I love this place... its a unique atmosphere to say the least. Where else can you sip a cocktail LYING DOWN on big cushions in the chill out area then move on down to some genuinely alternative live sets?? Nowhere, thats where! Tez rocks the house, and the blond bouncer rocks the rest of my world :)
