One of my faves in Glasgow, really good atmosphere usually with traditional wee band playin. Could stay there all day drinkin! Only complaint would be the food, I never even touched it and asked the girl to take it away. Very 'ye olde world' lookin food, if you like fat an gristle go for it. Still visit often for drink though.

It's not every day i say this, but, uch!
Staff too busy to serve a quiet bar because they were washing glasses.
Staff serving drinks prior to last orders with the rider that "you've only got 15 mins to drink it.."
(1) Like we didn't know
(2) 1 bottle of vino between 5 is not the cause for arse skelping (as was the vibe radiated from the bar-keep's coupon).
Babbities - you have done better.
When PMT is an olympic sport, would someone be kind to tell me.
I could cash in on promoting you.

Love this place.
Good service, good range of wines and a guest beer on tap as well.
The traditional music sessions are a joy to behold and one or two well kent faces can be seen taking part.
Was in last night and there was a smashing atmosphere.

Babbity's is a great wee pub, actually looks like a wee village restaurant. The staff are friendly-which in my humble opinion always helps. The drink is slightly pricey, especially if,like me you're a student, however it is well kept and well served. The overall bonus of this place is the beer garden which provides the perfect, intimate place to relax and enjoy the sunshine with your friends.

We have stayed at the Babbity Bowster on two visits to Glasgow from Michigan. It has a wonderful, friendly, homey atmosphere. Fraser, the proprietor is the perfect host. The pub is the heart of this small, intimate hotel. We just loved it.

My sister and I stayed at the hotel and ate at the pub in November of last year. The food was AWFUL and we froze to death in our rooms. The heat was not working and they would not move us to another room- just sent up some shitty space heater! Unbelievable. We don't recommend staying and eating there- HOWEVER, the pub was actually fun and the cute bar dude that served us was very nice.

The previous posters aren't enthusiastic enough :-) The Babbity was one of the most hospitable places we've ever stayed, and we've stayed in a lot of places! Frasier and his crew are beyond belief, the guests and regulars friendly and welcoming, and the food (breakfast and supper) really, really good. If you're visiting Glasgow, and you don't stay/eat here, you've missed something uncommonly special.
