This is the ultimate Sunday afternoon evening hangover pub. Our regular haunt for great cheap food and drink and just an exceptionally friendly place to hang out.
It looks a bit run down but that just adds to its charm.
Great service as well.

This pub i hav never bought a drink in...or even drank in. My only experience is during an extremely drunken party one evening across the roadish, i ran in shouting "strooth" and "dingoes ate ya baby". From then on i loved the place because instead of regulars and bar staff beating me and throwing me out, they laughed and encouraged me! Top class place, don't miss it!

bar oz is were its at, as a regular frequenter of this establishment it can do no wrong, quality music supplied by the belmont gentlemans club, and captain colz pulling the pints it made it the perfect place to ride out the day. beers far from expensive and its located in a quality and safe area. a trip to glasgow isnt complete without a full day spent in this establishment.

i have been drinking in bar oz since it was chimmey chungas and the place has not changed much since then. Beers very good especially the range of australian ones and food quite reasonable to.
big screen football on often, but beware going in when a big game is on as the place is packed. staff helpful and it is usually a good place to start a night in the west end.

Enjoy it while you can! Apparently they are changing it to a non-Aussie pub! Nooooooo, I loved those ridiculous posters about "knocking the dags off a sick canary" when I was drunk! Lots of fun. Fake crocodiles and kangaroos and stuff. Never have to wait long to get served and good cheap food too.
The ladies toilets are a bit odd though. The locks have "mysteriously" fallen off every single one of the doors so beware of being caught with your trousers round your ankles! Happened to my mate and I laughed my ass off!
