Been in here a couple of times, and on the whole it's full of posers. On a Friday or Saturday you will probably find youself queuing. They seem to operate a 1 out 1 in type regime The door stewards could do with a slap as they won't let people in for some of the most for the most absurd reasons.

cramped, sweaty, hard to find a free table, but we like it. doorman is odd though, and makes you queue even when the place is far from busy!

Nice bar but a touch heavy on the out of towners when it's gel & fighting night in the Venue.

A bit of quality control on the door so that I can actually enjoy my Staro without someone's spikey hair going in the beer would be welcomed.

One for the Broughton St Party People, ie loud, trendy and dodgy. Or does that just sum up young people today? Pardon me.

Good selection of lager, if you like that kind of thing, though probably 10 times the price of the original (and less hangover inducing) stuff in Prague.

I have some respect for the bouncers though. A friend of mine once turned up in a white poloneck and the bouncers asked him to leave because of this. A sense of humour - I like that.

Fantastic Czech themed pre-club bar with a superb selection of music. Much much too busy on a Friday or Saturday night to be properly appreciated. Instead go in the daytime, lounge on the sofas, eat the czech dumplings and drink the czech lager whilst listening to non-czech dance/chillout music.
