Had lunch here on a recent golfing trip to Scotland and found the food & atmosphere to be great. Basic Scottish fare well cooked. My American friends loved the beautiful windows high up on the "second floor". Look forward to having another pint there soon!

The place is buzzin wi woman and Ark Angel nearly came along. Big Dom was drunk again on the Red Bull and we had to get the chopper back to base b4 3 so it was a mad rush to drink up!

I would have to agree the cav is the boom. It's best night are wednesday friday and sunday.

Wednesday which is plant. is the best student night in edinburgh no place can compet. with 5 bars open two dancers floors and karoke at back bar what more do you want. Friday free entry until 9 if your 18 and over and drinks from a pound you are syeaming for 9. Sunday again no place can compet with the cav on this night drink starting at a pound . I love the cav

Good night club but the black bouncer is a nob head. No student Id then no entry even though i have a membership.Avoid the tosser if you don't have student Id or you definitely won't get in, all the other bouncers are fine though. Also what is the rule on Fridays about no Denim after 9pm. so it's ok to go in at 8:55 pm wearing jeans but as soon as it turns 9 its not. who made these stupid rules. Every single night you need to abide by about 400 different rules to get in. birds are hot though. well not all of them. Quite a few young team girls go here i know quite a few who are still at school. Probably only get in cause a few of the bouncers paedophile tendencies.

Wednesday nights at the cav are the best student nights in Edinburgh, especially since it's been done up.
