Hi,
Im a student at glasgow uni and never have any problem getting into clubs, however last month I have a few friends down who got turned away from Garage. They are all in their early thirties and smartly dressed. What is the chance that they will get turned away from Arches? I want to show them a good night out and not get turned away from every decent club for no decent reason!!

TIP:

Left my jacket in the cloakroom after a (admitedly top) night out. Went in to collect it the next day to find that cloakroom staff (or someone connected with the club) had riffled through my pockets and emptied them of my phone and purse. When dealing with 'manager' Andy, i was told there was nothing i or he could do. This guy appeared totally incompetent and told me more or less, 'you put items in the cloakroom at your own risk'. So basically, the jist i got from The Arches mainman was, put your jacket bag ect. in our cloakroom, but our staff (cloakroom or otherwise) will probably go through your things and lift anything they take a shine to. And theres nothing you can do about it.

I should also point out i didnt get so much as an apology for this.

Terrible management, and overall a complete embarassment to clubbing.

I've not been on a night out to the arches and not enjoyed it! Love the place always got an amazing atmosphere

If there is ever another subcity party at the arches you must go. Music to suit all tastes, live acts, graffiti and break dancing. Absolutely wicked!

Going to the Arches is always an Event.

Big name DJ's play to an "up for it " crowd and its almost impossible not to get carried away in the general feeling of euphoria.

Admittedly, there is a large underclass element but they're kept in check by the excellent security and current trend for mood enhancing drugs.

Be prepared to lose yourself (and all of your mates) on the dancefloor.

Carl cox is a God! What a set to start the 1st colours of the new year.Been a regular at inside out for the last 4 years no better night in glasgow makes you live for the weekend after your mon - fri matronic jobs! Always a massive guest list q most are friends of DJ's or from a mag so dont put yourself out that u have 2 wait 40 mins 2 get in usual 4 most places on a sat, never been searched in al my time and they had selected drinks 4 £1.50 all night last week although i only buy 1 bottle of water an fill it from the tap! "LIVE FOR THE MOMENT"

Was at colurs at the weekend and fufilled a long time goal of hearing carl cox.
I was not dissapointed!!
The atmosphere was [b]amazing![/b]no trouble whatsoever and a lot friendler in general than other clubs i have been to.Planning my next night already....
