Nice place, but always incredibly busy at the weekends. Gave gone in just to walk back out again when I realised a seat, a place at the bar or even somewhere to stand was a logistical impossibility.

Here lays one of them pubs that just cant go wrong. Attractive prices, damn decent music, clean toilets and such an atmosphear that just cant go wrong.
Been going to the Cellars for years now since my early student days, perhaps Ill see some new faces there when I retire ;)
Its also a great wee place for a date during the day. Your partner will want to go back here thats for sure.

I have a soft spot for this pub which can be extremely busy at the weekends. Not least as I always have had a good time in it.

i quite like this place, don't think i would go as a pre club place tho. think its more of an afternoon drink bar. really chilled out atmosphere, would prob be quite a good place to take someone out for drinks, nice comfy seats and lots of wee secluded tables

This is one of the best bars in town, the best thing being the neds have overlooked it in there migration up sauchiehall st. The drink prices are very good and the music is half decent.

I'm a fan of basement bars and this has to be one of the best I've been to. Candlelight is very flattering and atmospheric. The fish tank is a nice touch (you get to choose your dinner ;-). Jukebox has a varied selection. A couple of good nooks to get cosy in with your mates (if you get in early enough). Dark wood & low ceiling. Nice pint. This place inspires conversation.

A fantastic little pub on Sauchihall street, just slightly away from the madness of all the bigger pubs near the Garage and Trash. The prices in here are pretty good, and the atmosphere is great with the candle-light and fish tank. Particularly like the acoustic sessions on saturdays, great place to unwind and chill out (although apparantly it is mandatory for each of the performers to play at least one Bob Dylan song each).
