NightB4 Site News
Photos! - 29th Sep 2004
All NightB4 members can now upload photos to their account to share with your friends, or just anyone who browses to your profile page. Upload photos from your nights out, holidays or any random photos you've taken.
To upload photos visit the members' area or if you don't already have an account you can register free.
You can also send photos to your gallery directly from mobile phones with a camera. See the help pages for instructions.
New forums - 16th Feb 2003
Now that the forums are being used more we thought it was time to give them a new look. The whole forum system has been completely redesigned and hopefully will be a vast improvement on the previous system.
A few other changes to how NightB4 accounts work as well - you can now enter profile information, you can remember your login (so you don't have to enter it each time you visit), and when registering you must now confirm the account. See the help pages for more information about the last two.
Updating of Maps - 16th Dec 2002
We're updating the maps for Glasgow over the next couple of days, so if you find that a venue has the wrong location then check back later in the week and it should be sorted.
We apologise for any inconveniance.

Newcastle - 17th May 2002
We've finally got round to adding in Newcastle to the site. We've been promising to add it in for a couple of months now, and we've finally got round to finishing it off. No doubt a few teething problems will crop up for the first few weeks, but bare with us.
Now the summer is approaching it willgive us the opportunity to add in more cities as well as add new features and sections to the site. So remember to keep coming back and check up on us, we really do appreciate it.

Soul Deviants - 10th Apr 2002
Some of you may have noticed the new section in the site, entitled Soul Deviants. This is a website for a group of Glasgow DJs, calling themselves the Soul Deviants. On it you'll find the latest music reviews, DJ and record label profiles and much more to come including samples of the latest tracks.

We got a wee mention in the Daily Record a couple of weeks ago in the Saturday magazine. In the Club News section they wrote:

Cinema Listings - 30th Dec 2001
We've now added a new section to NightB4 in Edinburgh providing cinema listings. Currently only the Odeons and UGC are listed but we hope to add the rest shortly.
It's Christmas Time - 7th Dec 2001
Well Christmas has come round once again, so in keeping with the festive spirit we decided to add some seasonal changes to the site. All of the maps have had little festive touchs added, in the form of snowmen.
Of course, we're never ones for going with the conventional, so instead of being your normal snowmen they're the ones from our favourite comic, Calvin and Hobbes. Each map has a different one, and all the snowmen artwork is © copyright 2001 Bill Watterson.

Cinema listings - 5th Dec 2001
The cinema section now contains listings of the films showing at each cinema, updated weekly.
We're Popular - 1st Nov 2001
We're very pleased to announce that October was by far NightB4's most successful month ever. We averaged well over 3000 hits a day during the week, and our new cities are now receiving regular visits as well as Glasgow.
We've added Glasgow's cinemas in, and you can expect to see film listings for these cinemas in the coming weeks.

New Look, New Cities - 30th May 2001
If you're a regular visitor to the site you will no doubt have noticed our lovely new layout and colour scheme. We've been working on this for a while, along with some new features which will be online in the next month or so.
We also took this opportunity to add in listings for other cities, both in Scotland, and Dublin, which we've had the pleasure of vising twice in the last year.
We hope you like the new layout, and if you have any comments/suggestions on the new look, or you can help us write reviews for any of our cities please don't hesitate to contact us.
Site Update - 26th Mar 2001
Okay, been a lack of news for the last few months, but it's not because we're being lazy and not doing anything. Far from it!
A whole new layout for the site is nearing completion, few new features to begin with, with more gradually being added. New cities will be added too, as well as an active advertising campaign in Glasgow to encourage people to visit the site.
Why have we taken so bloody long? Well, we've been busy with other stuff too, and we've noticed some other similar sites popping up with little or no content so we figure we'd better get people's attention soon or we'll get tarred with the same brush.

WAP - 4th Dec 2000
The NightB4 WAP site is now up and running at www.nightb4.com/wap/ allowing you to check the Night by Night section, contact details for all the pubs and clubs and even locate which clubs are closest to each pub.
